“The title came to me first. It instantly evoked a mysterious place with a beautiful waterfall enshrouded in mist, deep in an enchanted forest. I wanted to create a piece of music that told a story and lead the listener into this magical space.”
“Sitting at the piano one night, this movie theme idea that came to me, evoking images of rolling, misty hills lined with rows upon rows of military tombstones. This piece is dedicated to loved ones who have gone before.”

A nostalgic, wistful period piece that harkens back to a simpler time. Jim dedicated this song to his Aunt Billie Jo, who was “the girl from Eastland County and an inspiration to all who knew her.”

A contemplative, peaceful meditation featuring a gorgeous string arrangement by legendary arranger, Robbie Buchanan.
5. TANGERINE MOON
Jim got the title from a blood red moon he witnessed while on the shores of Lake Michigan. A dramatic offering laced with exotic intrigue.

The dulcet tones of Eric Rigler’s Irish flute weave throughout this comforting, melodic piece.
7. DIOGENES LANTERN
A haunting, evocative piece. The ancient Greek philosopher Diogenes was known for holding a lantern to the faces of Athenians “in search of an honest man.” The search for truth is more meaningful today than ever.
8. UNDER A HIGHLANDS MOON
Jim is joined by renowned flautist and piper, Eric Rigler on this romantic ballad with Celtic influences.
9. THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND
The album’s only cover was penned by platinum recording artist Andrew Gold. “"Andrew was a big supporter of my music over the years. This is my homage to a musical genius whom I’m honored to have called a friend.”
